Picked this up on sale for $199! They also had it in FDE for $219!

I only got the black one for right now.

Who else has one and do you like it? I will say this, this thing is solid as a rock, I am extremely impressed with the quality of this device!

I agree, it is definitely a great design, and I love how solid it is. If I see the FDE version on sale again I'm going to be buying it for sure!

Even better would be an OD Green version! 🙏🤪

No. had one, installed it added another 1.5-2" to a SBR i have. Why would i want to make a SBR any longer than needed. IF it was capable of firing from a folded position, like my Foxtrot Mike carbine then i would consider it. It was sold faster than it took to have it shipped to me. To each their own.

Why not just put a collapsible stock on the SBR? Problem solved.

I had one on one of my shorty AR's when they first showed up. They are well made, but it would have been better if they made them fold to the right (for a right handed shooter), so that the hinge doesn't knock your front teeth out when you shoulder the gun in a hurry. If youre a "nose to the charging handle" shooter and have one, you know just what Im talking about. :)

Its also a sort of trade off thing too, as when you fold it, it more than doubles the thickness of things, and while it is shorter, its also now a lot bulkier.

I didn't keep mine long, mostly due to the teeth thing, but I find I can break even one of my 16" guns down into two parts and hide it smaller, less discrete things just as easily, if not easier. Only takes a couple of seconds to pop it together.

I've been intrigued by these. I would like at least one for a potential carry best millimeter AR pistol. Add a sling, could easily carry in winter .
Not here in South Florida! 😂😂😂

That's a nice option!

Unfortunately my centerfire AR platform days of enchantment ended some years ago, preferring these days to have the ability of a mag fed semi auto firearm to be able to be fired while folded - without having to deal with a buffer tube system, and the only way to have that option is by utilizing another platform, e.g...

...a CZ 805 BREN PS1 SBR...

...or a Brownell's BRN-180s pistol...
Image

...or even a dedicated buffer-less .22LR AR pistol...

...all of which can be fired with their stock or braces folded.

In the recent past I've looked into large format buffer-less pistol upper options in 300BLK such as the SIG MCX that are designed to mate up with a standard AR lower receiver, but haven't yet decided if I want to spend the $$.

Anyway, I'm always grateful to have options...even those that I don't see the point of, have no current use for, or those that I feel provide too little substance for too high a cost ;)

Thank you sir. The above aren't for everyone, but are just right for me!

I Form 1'd the CZ a few years back; with it's 10.9" barrel it mimics (sans the happy switch) the Czechoslovakian military 805 A2 rifle configuration, effective out to 400 meters. It's itching for a suppressor :)
