I thinking of shooting “carry optics” up at my local club. We’ll often continue to shoot and finish a match even if the weather get a little damp; meaning heavy drizzle of even light rain. I recently installed a DPP on a g34 and I’m having some fun with it, what can I expect if we start getting wet?

These were meant for profesional use. Rain or car washes should not affect it. Porbably not worthy for Scuba diving.
Expectations can be wrong, so therefore, iron sights for back up of any optic.

If the lens gets wet you'll have a hard time seeing through it just like your glasses or windshield.
Backup irons won't help much there.
A drop or two shouldn't slow you down much.
