Ameriglo for Gen 5 or no ?

I'm going to get my first Gen 5 Glock and I was debating if I should get the new AmeriGlo sights or stick with the traditional night sights. All my other Glocks I've had over the years had the regular night sights and I never had an issue with them. Might it be better to stick with them or try these new sights ? I know there is no right or wrong answer but just wanted to get some thoughts.

I really like any kind of factory option for night sights. Saves me having to fuss with it myself. You still pay for them in the (usually) higher price for the gun, but IMO it's worth every penny.

I bought a set of the FBI Ameriglos and have them on my Gen4 19. I really like them, although not a lot of difference from the Trijicon HD's I have on my other Glocks. They are slightly less expensive than the THD's. If I were ordering a new Gen5 19 I would definitely get it from the factory with the Ameriglos.

I had the factory put tritium sights on, but I live 40 minutes away and they do it while you wait for about for about $70. Research the styles of ameriglo first because if you dont get what you want the first time, its expensive to replace half a set. A front sight will run $60 when a set may cost $80 or $90. I really like the CAP LE sight in alumi green. The front paint is phosphorous, square with the tritium insert. The rears have the tritium without the white outline. So in the day the rear is black with a square notch. They are designed to pick up the front sight faster in the daytime. Another nice option is the I DOT system. Glock uses Ameriglo fronts. They get pissed when you mention it to them on the phone as if it were a secret.

That's what I have one on a few of mine and they are great. I have both orange and yellow green, I'm not sure which I like best. As far as price the were much cheaper than most online.
