According to Aimpoint's website, the PRO is also night vision compatible. I just wish they would sell the PRO without that QRP2 mount.

I'm getting the Pro soon. I'll get back to you M3 advertises longer battery life...

 

I'm thinking about adding a Pro to my portfolio... but why are you guys hating on the mount, isn't it a good thing, $400 for the Aimpoint Pro and it includes a mount? Im no expert but it seems good to me.

 

The main reason i don't care for the mount, is the knob sticks out too far, and will get caught on gear and other things etc. i would just change it to a LT 150 Larue QD mount.
That's why it be nice if they sold just the RDS Pro with out QRP2.

It does not stick more than a BCM Mod 4 charging handle.

 

Yeah fair enough, i looked at one three weeks ago not bad for the $, still like the Larue mt. the best, but more $ i could live with the QRP2 thou.

I'd get the Pro, better value for the money. If you don't like the mount replace it and sell the old one to recoup some of the cost, still cheaper than the M3. I replaced my mount a QD ADM mount and love it.
