Another answer to a question that was never asked.
Wheres the word TACTICOOL IN THE AD.?

I disagree, from the write up, offers a promising impact on accuracy. As long as more rail / control via the rail doesn't have a negative impact, and it improves accuracy and / or follow up, what's not to like?

Ummmm, not sure about this. I will wait to see how it fares out.:dunno:

Interesting option. I'll keep an open mind about it.

I have for years wondered why Glock didn't integrate frame rails into the locking block themselves. I figured they probably considered it at one point and maybe even experimented with a prototype but it didn't work out for some reason. Glock frames flex quite a bit under recoil, and that is how they are designed to function. If this interferes with that function, count me out. I'd want to see a Glock go through a 20,000 round torture test with one of these before I'd consider putting one in one of my Glocks.

Seems like it might just create more drag/binding points.....

Why is it that so many are attempting to cash in by riding on the back of Glock, Inc?

"They" can keep pumping out as many aftermarket parts as they want.....but I use Glock pistols purely for defensive use, and prefer them factory stock.

Oh well, it will give some people more to ***** about, after they install it and then find that their pistol isn't "running" right!

Having said all that....If someone likes it.....they should try it!

When my locking block breaks I might consider getting one.

How about one like the factory but steel or cast (like the were for years) rather than MIM (current).

I can understand the small ridge added to it, It works the same way as a fitted barrel. But the extra slide rails may not be a good idea. There is quite a bit of frame flexing between the front and rear rails during recoil. With the rails on the locking block your now giving some place else for that energy to go. Seems like it might put a lot of stress on the locking block, and pins in that location.

I'm open to a better designed locking block for sure, but not sure that there isn't too much going on here.

Have to wait and see how it performs before I would buy one.
Interesting point, aftermarket parts do guinea pig parts out for testing at the cost and expense of the Purchaser. I guess that the mind is tempted by the proposed result. When does common sense step in and we ask:What can be expected, what do you expect?

I am in awe of this phenomenon, that sells, what drives people to accept a result that will be hard to be measured, possibly the measurement and result is only in the mind of the buyer and there lies the answer.

I was going to ask why anybody would change the locking block. What's next, tactical frame pins?

I've owned and shot a lot of Gloks for a lot of years - "I need a new locking block" is yet to cross my mind.
