A friend of mine gave me 1K of .40 cal. 155 gr. LSWC bullets and I am looking for a starting load. Most data I have found does not list this particular bullet. Powder on hand includes W-231, WSF, HS-6, and AutoComp. I would appreciate any suggestions.

The new Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook has data for cast 155's in 40SW.

That sounds like what I need. I will order one. Thanks, WiskyT.
Oops! I lied. It's a 150 grain TC. It's a book worht owning though, lots of good data for cast bullets and enough info on casting to turn you into a caster.

Use the starting load for the next heavier bullet of the same construction.
Here are some of the loads I have for 155gn lead bullets.
