Neither of those rounds has any decent "Stopping power" except in theory according to published ballistics which are different according to barrel length. Hollow points don't work in either the 32 or the 380 because neither cartridge has the energy to both penetrate AND expand. Because if the projectile somehow does expand, it limits penetration. So you're better off using FMJ's in both calibers and then one isn't much better than the other except that the 32 often tends to tumble after penetrating.

The only effective JHP that will both expand and penetrate in the 380 is the Underwood 90 grain XTP Plus+P ammo and the most effective ammo in 32 ACP is the Buffalo bore 32 ACP Plus+P 75 grain hardcast flatnose.

Buffalo bore tests their ammo in both test barrels and real guns. Their test barrel velocity was 1,150 fps/ M.E. 220 ft. lbs. Out of a 3 inch Beretta model 70, velocity was down to 1,001 fps, and out of a 2.5 inch Kel-tec barrel 910 fps, and out of a 2 inck Seecamp, 856 fps. The 60 grain 32 hollowpoints, in spite of their increased velocity and higher energy figures on paper, will actually penetrate less because of lower sexual density.
"lower sexual density"....can you take the blue pill for that?
