CZ P10 F or CZ Shadow 2?

I'm looking for a full size handgun that is softer on the recoil impulse vs my other polymer guns, P10 F prices are great at the moment and you can do few mods to make it shoot softer (add weight and compensator) and still way under the price of the Shadow 2. Or should I wait and buy a Shadow 2?

The P10 F will be more of the same if you have other decent polymer striker-fired guns. The Shadow 2 will be a different experience. I had an SP01 Shadow Custom and it was one of the most fun guns to shoot at the range. It had a great feel in the hand and, given the design of the gun, recoil is negligible. You can run the guns fast, as the sights track extremely well on target. Despite the higher price, you get a lot of gun for the money with the Shadow 2. It will be a gun you look forward to shooting.

I would think the metal framed Shadow would shoot softer than any polymer. My softest shooting polymer is a VP9, but I am a fan of the P10 series.

I have multiples of both, the shadow 2 by a land slide. The p10f is fantastic but it is a polymer/duty gun while the shadow 2 is designed for competition. I’ve said it multiple times that the shadow 2 is the best bang for the buck when it comes to a pistol to enjoy at the range. Accuracy and reliability are great.

Shadow2 after shooting both at local range. That said I prefer a gun thats metal and a bit heftier.. I still always laugh when guys call a polymer gun "too heavy" almost laughable after spending a good part of a career in LE lugging around a S&W model 28 or a 1911 Colt Gold Cup.(and standard issue 1911 or M9 in military mostly 1911).. no "light weights" even at regular duty for 22 of 25.5 years in federal LE it was Ruger P series which was also a hunk to haul around(Now its the M&P last 3 years i got out in 2020 so 2017-2020 was M&P) so when I hear guys complain about "heavier" I always chuckle(also toted around a M60 for 3 years in military too)
