I am about ready to install a Red Dot on my G37.3. After doing a lot of reading the Holosun looks like the best bang for the Buck's. The 507C-X2-ACSS Vulcan's 10 MOA Chevron Aiming Point seems to have a pretty good rating overall based on a few reviews that I have read. My G37.3 is a combination Concealed Carry/Combat Match handgun. I go back and forth between carrying the G37.3 and my Compact G38.3. I will probably have a slide cut done on the G38.3 next, and install a Red Dot, (actually a Green Chevron in this case) on it also. I have pretty much decided to go with the Green Reticle.
My last Combat Match I had the only Iron Sight handgun. I am older than everyone that I shoot with, and I am sure that I can benefit from an optical sight.
Anyone with actual hands on experience with the Chevron Reticle?

No replies???? From reviews I have read, I am reasonably sure that I will like the Chevron Aiming Point at least as well as the 2 MOA Dot.
I just ordered the Holosun 507C-2X with the GREEN ACSS VULCAN Chevron Reticle from Primary Arms. They are the ones who came up with the ACSS Vulcan Reticle. Now I will need to get the slide shipped off to get the RMR Sight Cut Milled out. I will install this sight on my G37 Gen 3. For those not real familiar with all the Glock Models this is a Full Size (Same as G17 and G22 Gen 3) chambered in 45GAP. With luck I will have it by the end of the week.

Yes! I have one on my new-ish EDC and love it. I really like the chevron over a traditional dot, especially for "defensive" type shooting practice (as opposed to precision bullseye shooting). I find it very easy to pick up visually.

I made this infographic to demonstrate how it works:

I've got 5,000 rounds through this rig, and it's held up fine. No problems. Zero is solid.

PS... In case you noticed and were wondering about the "Holosun" logo... I used Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black to black out the rather prominent etched logo.

This sight is available in both RED and GREEN. The GREEN one costs a little more. I believe they have upgraded the emitter on the Green version in the last couple years to get a Brighter Green than previous sights from what I understand. I believe all of the new Holosun models available with a Green Sight have the latest version of the emitter.

My wife was not a fan. It was her first red dot and I thought the vulcan reticle would be good for someone who doesn't dryfire practice and also has no right peripheral vision. I took it off and replaced it with a swampfox justice. Shot a USPSA match with it today and she was much happier with a simple 3 moa dot.
I only tried it a couple of times. I hated the chevron. Primary Arms is coming out with a vulcan reticle with a 3 moa dot RS-15

I have the Holosun Sight in hand. I am very impressed with Primary Arms fast shipping.
My slide is in the mail to get the sight milling done. In about Three Weeks I should have the slide back, ready to put the G37 back together.

I had a Trijicon RMR on my Glock 23c for several years, then moved to this Holosun in green. It was a big step up in my opinion. It's really fast to acquire the chevron and the ring helps make sure everything is centered as you're making target acquisition.

Bob, this is the one I use and love! The ACSS Vulcan Reticle truly delivers. I find the chevron to be in sharp focus and always there. I had previously used a Vortex Venom red dot, and the dot was never as sharply focused for me. Enjoy!!
