I'd put a holster where it can't be seen. Even an empty holster may cause someone to break in thinking there's a pistol in the vehicle. Sort of like having Glock, Sig etc stickers on the back window.

I bought this on Amazon for $20.00 , I attached it with 2 small screws under my steering wheel, the magnet holds my G23 securely and it 's tucked under enough that you can't see it from outside. I have a 2017 ford escape, I highly recomend it!
Thanks for this -- I have one in my cart now.

Years ago I Velcro attached one of these to the engine compartment cover in my van. It worked very well, was right next to my right leg and I pulled the holster off and threw it under my seat when I was out of the van. I used industrial strength Velcro. Cheap and easily removed.

I never liked the magnet gun holders for a vehicle. This could just be in my head but I imagine getting in a minor accident and the gun goes flying off of the magnet and the trigger gets snagged by something. Even if the trigger doesn't get snagged the gun still goes flying. Those magnets usually hold 25 lbs. I'm sure my truck would exert more than 25 pounds of force on an object during an accident.

Hello everyone
Maybe someone knows if there is a holster for a Glock gun for a car?
Thanks to those who answered
I don't have any recommendations but caution you to check your local gun laws first. Some places like where I live make it a crime to have a magazine in the Glock even if it is in a locked safe in your car. It gets worse when driving close to schools. Also, as others have said, avoid advertising there is a valuable gun for car thieves.

Here is an example of what I'm saying:
California has stringent laws against carrying a concealed firearm. To legally keep a handgun in your car, the gun must:

  1. Be unloaded
  2. Be carried in the locked trunk of your car, or a locked case or container within your vehicle
Both of those conditions must be met to avoid being charged with carrying a concealed weapon in California. You cannot, for example, keep a loaded handgun in the glove compartment of your car or under the seat.

Anyone else not notice the Israeli flag next to his / her name?

I don’t like magnets as they magnetize my gun.
I like the idea that @Hoss posted. I did something similar with a flat plastic box. I put heavy duty Velcro with the hook side on the box. It stuck to the carpet in the side of the console. It held a Glock 34 just fine. When I got out I took the Glock out and the box just looked like a box stuck to the hump of the console.

I never leave a firearm in my car. It is just a problem waiting to happen. When I drive, I have the firearm in my std. holster or if it is a long trip, I use a cross draw style.
THIS!!

I lost my High Power back in 98 because I left it in my car, while I spent the night at my girlfriends apt.

Never again!!
