the hard cast will penetrate more, but not significantly. Hardcast is less likely to deform and will penetrate more in a straight line than fmj. Comparing equal buffalo bore loads the hard cast will likely to penetrate the FMJ by 5-12 inches

Given the larger meplat and sharper edges the hardcast will also likely make a larger wound than an equal caliber flat nosed FMJ

Will the red coated or non red coated hard cast be more difficult to clean in a fa factory Glock barrel?

both should be fine. The red powder coated loads theoretically will lead your barrel less than the non coated varieties, but assuming you're not shooting hundreds on hundreds of hardcast lead bullets you should see practically zero leading, so in reality get whichever is cheaper

With all the stories out there, I'd be inclined to be able to mag dump at a moving target's head with what I can shoot fast. If you're gonna venture out there where dem damn bears live, know how to shoot. I watched a couple of dem inbred cannibal movies and I don't know what's worse...dem or da bears.

I thought I smelled griz around here... either that or my deodorant is wearing off.

Those things depend on the FMJ... some FMJ's are tough but plenty of FMJ's will flatten out and bend and not penetrate much. The bullets people want for penetration are more properly called solids, and the best solids are monometals (ie, one solid piece of copper).

There's truth here. People think FMJ is designed for maximal penetration, but it isn't. FMJ is designed to be (1) cheap, and (2) functional in semi autos. That's it. A better bet is a heavy for caliber hardcast.

Them poor bears, with people constantly testing their pistol calibers on them. Remember that even determined humans are rarely stopped by multiple gunshots, so a stronger bear (that does not watch TV) will likely be the same or better.

Leave those bears alone.
Whether going to the grocery store or a walk in the park, it always ends up in stopping bears.
