So we keeping told at the 43 and 43x barrels are the same, but I just so happen to pick up a 43x the other day and look at the barrels and they're different inside for sure as well as the wall thickness. Anybody else have any info on this?

I'd imagine a call or email to Glock, perhaps giving them the numbers on the L/side of the barrel chambers (pics if an email), might help get an answer.
Dunno if the difference between dot-matrix vs. stamped numbers on the L/side of the chambers mean anything, as manufacturing processes (including equipment) can change.
I've seen revisions and changes visible in a number of barrels for another company's plastic guns, and they occurred in barrels made and shipped over the course of only a few months. Nothing really surprises me anymore when it comes to what gun companies are doing.![]()
