Surprising, since Mossberg and Remington both have resorted to slashing the prices on their DM shotguns in an effort to sell them.
I don't think it's that surprising.

I have a Saiga 12 I haven't shot in years. Mag fed shotguns are nothing more than a novelty. I wish they weren't, but they are.

I wish Mossberg would make a shockwave based on the 930 semi auto in both 12 and 20 gauges. a semi-auto has reduced recoil and most important, does not require two hands to operate.

Mossberg makes a reliable semi-auto and they even make a "tactical" Version in 20 gauge.

I built one of the first "shockwave" short barrel smooth bore firearms on a Black Aces receiver long before Mossberg came out with theirs. It uses Saiga mags. It is kinda awkward to handle and not slim and trim like a regular Shockwave. There is no real advantage to a detachable mag fed smoothbore firearm. They are cumbersome.
