I am trying to assemble a list of adapters that allow a use of Glock magazines in 9mm. Although, I don't mind any other magaizines, the 9mm Glock is just an obvious focus. So far, I know these:
* Stern MAG-AD9
MAG-AD9
$179 direct, $169 street.
It's unclear to me how it attaches to the lower and prevents the AR release from dropping it. Possibly replaces the AR mag catch completely.
The ejector is mounted on the adapter in the same way as on traditional Colt adapters.
(also available from Stern are adapters for M&P .45 ACP, Beretta 92, P320)
* Orion unnamed adapter (h/t Mr. CMG)
https://www.orionguns.com/9mm-40-cal-glock-mag-adapter-9mm-40-cal-adap.htm
$129.95 direct
Utilizes the AR latch and does not appear to interlock against accidental release.
* ATI ATI9MMADAPT
American Tactical Inc.
Was $159 direct.
A metal adapter with a locking screw. Impossible to buy anymore, apparently no longer made and/or imported.
* Tork
https://torkmag.com/index.php/product/magdapt-17-conversion-kit/
$74.95 direct
This is a multi-piece adapter that requires a modification to Glock magazines. In exchange the standard AR release is used to drop magazines.
* Sylvan
sylvanarms.com
Aluminum. No LRBHO.
$94.99 {Update: $115 in 2021}
* Fraurem AR9MQ
A 3D-printed adapter for Walther PPQ (AR9MQ) and SIG P320 (AR9LS) magazines, intended to be disposable. There is no Glock version. No last round hold-open (at least not as of August 2019).
$16 or $9.98+shipping
* WNG

An experimental plastic design. All available pictures are of low quality. No longer available.
This design uses a Glock mag latch p/n 1981 and its spring, as well as Olympic Arms sprung ejected mounted on the upper.
* Matador
Matador Arms Mag-X for P-320
Here's a reviewer blog (2019):
Best AR-15 Builds: Sig P320 Matador Arms - Pew Pew Tactical
Matador used to offer CZ-75 in 2019, but dropped it by 2024. Their SIG P320 adapter tilts the magazine forward, with a tiny feed block. Fortunately, their adapter is made from metal, so no mad erosion. They do not implement last round hold-open. The pistol release are in the front of the adapter.
* A mysterious Pennsylvanian at AR15.com, who claims to have patents on the idea. He also claims production, in case of Non-Practicing Entity defense is raised. I haven't seen his adapters in reality, and he hasn't identified with either of the above manufacturers. His design is made of a metal.
Bottom line: Stern is the only one you can buy now, presumable because of competition with complete lowers. Please do not post in this thread how Glock lowers are better -- we all know it.
