Yeah the USP was the high water mark for polymer HK’s (or basically any brand) in that regard.I have a P30SKS (safety model) specifically to be able to carry AIWB and have grown quite fond of the design. Granted, it’s not the same “quality” as the USP and P2000 series HKs, but it serves me well.
The PX4 Custom Carry doesn’t have a safety, it decock only. I agree, I don't like the location, when it is in fact a safety. As a decocker, I’m fine with it. I don’t have a PX4 anymore, but one of my main carries is a Wilson Beretta 92G Compact. I spent the extra $$ (almost twice as much) specifically for the decock only feature.I’m going to be the first voice speaking out for the P30SK. Both are very good pistols, however, I personally dislike the slide-mounted safety on the Beretta.
If you really want to save money, you don’t need to buy anything to convert a PX4 to decock only.Save yourself a couple hundred bucks. Get a standard PX4 compact and convert it to the decocker only G-type yourself with the kit from beretta's webstore.
Yeah I thought it was decock only, but I never owned the Compact Model. If you really want to save money, you don’t need to buy anything to convert a PX4 to decock only.
He specified the Compact Carry, which is a special model that only comes as a "G", AKA decock only. The traditional compact isn't necessarily a decock only (comes in several configurations F, G, D, C).Yeah I thought it was decock only, but I never owned the Compact Model.
Yeah, I'm thinking of the slim levers as well.If you really want to save money, you don’t need to buy anything to convert a PX4 to decock only.
