Has anyone besides me purchased any of these lately? I could be wrong but it's my understanding that these are overstock/over run pistols that do not fall under glocks MAP. There appears to be to be a fair amount available of several different models. Mostly or all gen3? Heck of a deal for a new pistol IMO.

Where do you buy these?

Several distributors have them in stock. Lipseys,Gallery of guns and I'm sure others. Your Lgs can order from them. I've seen low to mid 400's for sale prices. Maybe that's not a deal to some but I find it ok.

It is my understanding that the purple labels are 10 round magazines instead of high capacity. I just purchased a 34 Gen5 MOS and it came as a purple label with 3, 10 round magazines. I wanted the high capacity mags (15 rounds). The LGS shop ordered the wrong SKU. The 34 Gen5 with high capacity (15 round) mags were out of stock through their distributor so they ordered 3, 15 round mags and gave them to me in edition of keeping the 3, 10 round magazines. I had also traded for a 26 Gen5 which had 3, 10 round magazines which also had a purple label.

I misspoke in my above post (#5). White label is for 10 magazine capacity. That is what is on both my 26.5 and 34.5 MOS boxes. They have an additional purple label with the gun serial number on it.

My Glock 34 Gen5 MOS came with 17 round mags, not 15.

I have never seen a purple label, but I will say that white label is 10 round or less mags, red label is standard mags and blue label is first responder packages.

My mistake again. That is what happens when you switch from 40 S&W to 9mm. You are correct my standard capacities are 17 round mags.

The best place to look for information about Glock label colors is Glock's Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) list, FRM-26-38. There's one that is a year old available for download here:

http://www11.davidsonsinc.com/ManufMaps/Glock-MAP-Pricelist.pdf

From that it can be seen:

RED - High-capacity magazines. Advertised sales price is governed by Glock's MAP.

WHITE - Ten round magazines. Advertised sales price is governed by Glock's MAP.

PURPLE - Specific pistols designated by Glock. Advertised sales price is NOT governed by Glock's MAP. (This can be any pistol that Glock wishes to move quickly (like production overruns) without compelling dealer use of MAP in his advertising.)

ORANGE - Factory rebuilds and refurbishments. Advertised sales price is NOT governed by Glock's MAP.

Not on the MAP list is:

BLUE - Discounted and often specially-configured pistols for sales to a broad spectrum of public safety personnel. Pistols normally supplied with MINUS connector and adjustable rear sight will usually have the UNMARKED or DOT connector instead, and a fixed rear sight. See:

https://us.glock.com/buy/blue-label-program

There are NO special label colors for USA-manufactured Glock pistols.

NB: Glock can place NO limit on what price a dealer sells a new pistol. A new G40 can be sold for $5. But the dealer may not advertise the G40 for that price. When a dealer wishes to advertise pistols governed by the company's MAP list for a lower price than the MAP list allows, there will be a "Call for price" notation in the advertisement.
