Milt Sparks Criterion G19

After a good 16 week wait, my tan Criterion arrived today. What an incredible holster. I have owned the Nexus and currently own a VM2 (owned a second one as well but sold it when I sold the gun it was for), the criterion is the perfect blend.

Rides deep, great cant, and reinforced mouth for one handed holstering. It is awesome.

A plastic gun should have proper plastic holster.

For me,plastic holsters suck. Tried a bunch of them.

Its Sparks vm2 for my plastic guns and 1911s.

If the Criterion has as much cant as the Nexus then I cant
use them. Makes the gun stick out the seat of my pants.

Congrats on the new, quality holster. How far above your waistband is the top of the holster or is it even with the waistband?

It is about even with the top of my waist band. The mouth that is. There is a jutted out part to protect your body from the firearm that rises upwards. But the mouth is even with my jeans.

I also have one for my G19 and like it a lot. I've been carrying my G26 in it while I decide if it's worth it to get a G26 model.

I spoke with them about making it for non 1911s and non Glocks. No plans to expand the product offering yet, demand is too high to have time to do R&D.

I would love one for my PPQ and VP9.

Before the Criterion was the Nexus. I have been a Sparks VM2 fan for years and have one for every model pistol I own. When the Nexus came out I had to try one. It wasn't for me...no reinforced mouth made it hard to reinsert the pistol with one hand. I said from that day that if they would make the same holster with a reinforced mouth I would start replacing my beloved VM2's. Now that day is here with the Criterion. I have two for 1911's and one for a Glock. Absolutely tremendous holsters.

Nice. I still prefer the Summer Special II over all others for my G19. I like the ride height, cant, and minimal construction.
