It's mainly a suggestion in order to more easily remove the trigger pin which has two grooves that must clear the slide stop lever when removed. One groove must be unhooked when pushing the pin out from left to right, whereas two grooves must be unhooked if the pin is pushed in the opposite direction. For the same reason, it's suggested the trigger pin be reinstalled from right to left. It's easier to remember to remove and reinstall all three pins following the same procedure, but not as important for the other two pins.In the diagram in the OP, why the admonition to remove the pins "From Other Side Only"? Don't think I've come across that before.
