That’s the one thing I really do like about the Dagger. The trigger. I find that their trigger, specifically the shoe has a rather pleasant feeling. I’ve actually swapped their trigger into a number of builds. Like this ported 40 S&W P80 I put together.

Sweet looking piece! Love it!

As one who owns them, and not just throwing pro-Glock opinions out: I think they could suffer frequent high use just as fine as anything else. Worn parts can be replaced.
I love the PSA hinged trigger, very smooth and comfortable. Too bad they don't sell them separately-- I would replace my Glock triggers with one. Mine have gotten smoother with use.
They are based on gen3 Glocks, so those that think they need improved innards can switch out what ever they desire. They work like Gen3 Glocks.
You can make (or buy) a gen3 Glock45 clone with PSA parts.

Look on the PSA forums, there are frustrations with PSA CS and company -- just like many other gun makers, they are there to make and sell guns. They are direct marketers-- they don't sell through distributors.

Blems and sales are a good deal.

Certainly, you can buy a well used trade-in Glock for the same money - but not new, optic ready, in colors, with threaded barrel.🤟 BTW they make their slides either RMR, or Doctor footprint (Not sure why they picked those 2)- so direct mount with no mounting MOS style plate needed for those compatible optics.

Thanks for all the insight. I currently have 4 Glocks, G29.3 SF, G30.3, G48 MOS, G19.2. I have purchased a Complete upper PSA Dagger Micro MOS and the associated PSA micro mags. I am still waiting on the right RMR non-threaded barrel complete Dagger upper setup on sale next. What is described makes sense. I doubt seriously I would shoot more than a thousand rounds through it and if I do I'll just put the Gen 2 barrel into the Dagger slide.

I have had dealings with four of them, some things I like much more than
a glock, trigger is better for me and getting better the more it gets shot.

Grip is much better.

After the front sight was cut down .020'' it is good for 100 yards, that one
shot around two inches at 16 yards when new. It is around 1''+ up at 16 yds now.

The load I have shot the most is the Win Active Duty, it is very accurate and fast,
1294 FPS in the 4.5'' threaded barrel, it is a 115 FMJ FP, the pressure is 39,700 PSI.

Ammo Review: Winchester M1152 Active Duty 9mm :: Guns.com

All four have been accurate and reliable with PSA and Glock parts,
on one I put a AM G23/32 slide and it had a little problem with some
of the AM conversion barrels, PSA sent a new trigges group and
it now works with a 9mm Swensen barrel and a G23 OEM barrel
and a 5.3'' LW 40 barrel, I don't use that long barrel much, mostly
for checking the FPS of different loads. I would use it for hunting.

IMO I like PSA.. I really like them.. but again IMO its the difference between a relatively "new" gun on the market that was brought out by a company that may make AR's, have a lot of good AR parts, but really till now isnt a Pistol manufacturer.. Vs a Company thats been in gun manufacturing..... Specifically handgun manufacturing for DECADES now.. has PROVEN products used by tons of LE(and maybe military also) and specifically is in business to manufacturer handguns..and make them to a level LE can rely on them and risk their lives with them...

AkA one has a long track record of VERY good and reliable guns that is used my Military and LE.. they are PROVEN good over a long time

the other is a great company thats been making handguns for a short time and that I know of no LE agencies have adapted them as their basic carry nor have they probably been as strenuously or Longley tested..

Give me the Proven and Tested one made by a specific manufacturer of that item any day if im risking my life on it. For one making Military/LE and SD/HD pistols is what they do.. and have been proven for years

the other makes them as a side business and hasnt been around or proven over nearly as long a time in the same circumstances.. And remember I really really like PSA but other than having a cheap range gun no thanks...till they get Glocks, S&W's,HK, track record and durability behind them.

39,700 PSI
39,700 PSI? Seems excessively high for a round at best +P rated. The Underwood 115gn +P is rated at 1300 and its below the SAAMI 38,5K maximum average pressure

PSA now has a holster for it named the "Cloak"

Both of my Daggers are great. I do have a LW barrel in one because I wanted a long barrel not because it wore out. I look at them as a great starting point you can mod without breaking the bank.

You can get a complete pistol on sale occasionally for $240. RMR versions are usually $275-300ish.

One thing I hear about them is that they have a bad trigger. It is the M&P style hinged trigger. It breaks in very well. Mine breaks at 5.5lbs, has a nice stacking point before it has a wall, then breaks cleanly.

My FIL shot mine a couple weeks ago and said he wished his Rugers trigger was that good.
I like my Dagger trigger over my 19 or my 80%, but they are 100% glock OEM parts.

Haven’t the Russians been playing around with 40k and tearing handguns up but running it in built machine guns?
You're talking about ammo made for sub guns? Yeah. But several counties have made over pressured sub gun ammo in the past

To be fair cartridges like the 356 TSW and 960 Rowland are in the 50K range. 9x23 Win is rated to 55K.

Wow! I didn’t know that!!!
The 356 TSW will push a 124gn to 1450. When it came out in the mid ‘90s it was a competitor to the 357 SIG and 9x23 Win. Here is my large poly frame Tanfoglio. Rechambered to 9x23 Win.

What kind of loads does it take!?!? I assume you handload?
Primarily, yes. Winchester will occasionally put out some some of their 9x23 even though I believe it is still listed as discontinued. Buffalo Bore offers a 9x23 Win. Starline offers a 9x23 case but is not nearly as strong as the Winchester cases. I've gotten it up to 1700 with a 124. 1480 with a 147 XTP. Of course I'm using small rifle primers. When I cannot find cases I'll convert 223 rem cases which is where it was actually derived from. Cooper brought the idea here to the US after he saw what some were doing to "juice" up the 38 Super in South America. Cooper called his version the 9mm magnum. But gun rags of that time dubbed it the 9mm Super Cooper. Later around '93/94 John Ricco revised/renewed the idea. Brought the idea to Winchester. Who promptly copied it and patented it as their 9x23 Winchester. Took John years to win the court battles but by then the round was dead.

Here are a couple of sets of groups shot with my Dagger thru my YHM Sidewinder suppressor at 15yds. Top is 124gr Berry's plated FPs loaded to ~800fps. Bottom is LOS 147gr loaded to 750fps.

With my 5.8" LW barrel and cast powdercoated 160gr FPs loaded to 900fps this is what it will do at 25yds. 3/4" groups. This load has killed 5 armadillos in the last month.

Nice! I just started using/loading 158gn FP/HP. Been interesting playing around with the OAL and charges.

I did a good thread on here where I loaded them up to 9 major velocities with W572 and then promptly deleted it. I'll PM info if you are interested but won't bother posting another tech thread or load data on this forum. Learned my lesson.

I know what you mean. Got the smack a couple times after putting up some load data for a few cartridges. Yeah would definitely be interested. Thanks
