I'm a big fan of FN. I think the fnx-45 is one of the most under-rated handguns of all time. I'm not in the market for a micro, but I would have a hard time deciding between the FN, SA and Sig.

Single action only hammer fired, very interesting they decided to go that route instead of striker fired. Looking at it one would think it’s striker fired, but it has an internal hammer and the trigger reset is quite long. Looks like the 503, hellcat, and 365 had a love triangle and made the reflex.

Definitely in the true micro range on par with the SIG (as opposed to the slightly larger Shield sized pistols). It only adds a little length and a 1/2 ounce. I suppose with the squared off bottom of the backstrap it could print just ever so slightly more than the angled P365, but that should make it fit some hands better.

I was recently considering picking up an FN just because, but wasn't sold on the 509s. I just have no need for another duty sized gun or a chunky subcompact.

But this one has my attention. I don't need it either, but I love chasing my ideal carry pistol and it would be good competition for my P365s.

And, bonus, since it's hammer fired and not striker fired, it should actually still work when wet (Looking at you 509s!)

Although, I will admit that a single action with no safety seems odd. Even the S&W EZ and Equalizer versions that come with only the grip safety feels wrong. This one seems to have nothing. Cocked but not locked.

So the Reflex has a .2" longer barrel length than the P365, I guess that accounts the the longer OAL. I like that it's not as tall as the P365.

Yeah I just saw that, super disappointed. I was expecting it to be like my pops shield EZ with the internal hammer. That trigger is nice.
