I recently bought one too. Haven't the time to shoot it yet, but it's sweet and appears very well made. Also bought a used Polish brown grip and Polish sling noth used in excellent condition.
Outstanding!
I also bought a Polish sling in excellent condition. In fact I believe it is new. I also bought a Polish cleaning kit new old stock. Bought both from APEX.
I’ve been staining my stock set on my Polish Jack AK. I did not like how light the stock comes from the factory. I’m hoping to get it back together tomorrow.

I put a USA made trigger in this AK rather than the magazine being 3 of the 6 US parts. It’s a Battle Arms EKG trigger. It’s breaking at 3.0-3.2 pounds. Pretty light trigger.

Edit to Add: This trigger feels great but it’s a sloppy fit. It has a sleeve and that sleeve has a lot of play on the trigger pin. I understand that it would be bad if it was tight as it would create resistance and friction but I want it to feel tighter. I don’t like that much up and down or side to side play.

Finally got a chance to shoot this Polish AK today. Ran Republic ammo through it. It ran great. But when I got home and broke it down to clean it, I noticed the gas piston rivet is moving side to side, in and out of each side. And the place where the rivet is located is now very sharp on both sides of the carrier. I can push one side and it will pop up on the other side just a little. But it does stick out above the bolt carrier. I’m quite disappointed in this rifle today.
Anyways, I sent Arms of America a message about this issue. Hopefully it gets fixed quickly.

How does this new Polish stuff like WBP, etc compare to Radom/Circle 11? Is it good, and/or associated with the old Polish Radom surplus stuff, or is it trying to ride the traditional Polish AK reputation?

Kind of like your new Bulgarian mags aren't necessarily Circle 10 mags, even though I find them to still be very good mags for much less than Circle 10 mags.

This video gives a good review of the Polish Jack AK. These Jack rifles do come with a hammer forged chrome lined FB Radom barrels.

More Jacks in stock at Atlantic. I'm waiting to hear back from my local FFL whether they are still doing transfers before I pull the trigger. I think I'm going to pick the one with the "Russian Sunburst" color stock.....VERY nice. $1,199.....that's likely the best price we're ever going to see on this thing. Next month I'll probably by an M70 from Zastava.

That red stock set looks great!

This is going to by far be one of the nicest guns I've ever owned. Far surpasses my WASR 10/63 in every measurable way.

Also the most expensive gun I've ever bought by far. But hey.....buy once cry once!

Look at that wood. Lordy!

Papa, apparently I need to read the entire thread next time, lol (gorgeous work by the way!). I didn't know Arms Of America was a dealer that sold WBP, I thought Atlantic was pretty much it.

Did you get that gas piston rivet fixed?

Thank you!
Yes, Arms of America took care of the gas piston. They took out the old rivet and put a new one in under warranty. I can’t wait to see pictures of your new WBP Jack AK! Congratulations!
Here is some pictures of the gas piston after they fixed it.
