I‘m with you. I modify all my IWB holsters tool, mostly the attachment points. I found its better to have a gap between the connection points to accommodate different belt loop configurations on my pants. I run Clinger holsters with the Clinger cushion.View attachment 1054811
Modified Phlster Floodlight (Sweatguard reduction, DCC clips, Dark Star Gear TearDrop wedge, moleskin, snap for aiding in removal). I have yet to meet any (a)iwb holster I didn't end up modifying. It's nothing against the Floodlight. It's solid as designed.

The paracord is factory from Phlster. I imagine it's in the design for flexibility because the Floodlight is cross gun compatible for many models sporting an X300U. I actually got this holster as part of a package deal on a Nighthawk 5" 2011.What’s the purpose of the paracord?
