I've had 4 over the past 5 years. Wife got the first one. Daughter got the second one. Son got the third one. I'm KEEPING the fourth one.

It's probably the best all-around pistol Glock makes. (Not a statement meant to start a caliber war, just a thought about size versus capacity, etc.

I had one (my daughter now ownes it since I'm a 40 guy). It had a pretty severe BTF issue, but we eventually got it to the "dribbling brass but at least not to you face" with some different Glock and aftermarket parts. She likes it but I think she's eventually going to replace it with a 23.5.
If it was a 23 I'd still have it.

For a carry gun, if I carried one that big, I like everything except the forward slide serrations, but they aren't a big deal.

Finger groove and front serrations!
Whats not to like! :)

My first carry gun was a G19.3.
I found that I prefer full size Glocks, but still have that old 19. It's not going anywhere!

Gen4/G19/FS/Summer Special. Oversized controls, night sights, and a few other goodies. In every way, this Glock was perfect!
Slugo, I agree with you 100%, I've owned 30+ Glock 19s over the years, my favorite version/model was the Gen 4 Front Serrations Summer Special Model. I ended up owning 6 of them.

Now I am Glock 19less..., the MR918 has replaced my 19s. But I found myself checking around Gunbroker and Armslist the other day looking for a Gen 4 Front Serrations 19 again :dunno:.

If your son wants to make some quick $$$ let me know :D.
