A while back I turned down buying 3 of them for a low price as I'm not head over heals about the gun. I had in past thought about selling it. Kind of regret not buying the mags but I don't see myself every using them.

I think Para-14 or some Para double stack mag is the identical mag though. I know you can swap extra power springs from Wolfe into the K2-45 mags.

Can you elaborate on why you weren't wild about it?
I don't have mine yet but it sure seems like its gonna be awesome.
I have only seen positive reviews on them and did read Para mags will work but may not lock open.
I have already ordered 2 Para mags and 10% stronger springs.

The C looks very interesting, not sure if the slightly shorter barrel is a selling point for me tho. If the frame was shorter I'd be more interested.

The gun is big and heavy so I wanted it to have the longer bbl. since I would never carry it anyways.

I went to my gun store and asked to see it and it felt really good in my hand and the slide was smooth s heck for what it is so...I bought it,im takeing it out to shoot tomorrow

My model suffers from jams all the time. It runs well when freshly cleaned. But give it a mag or two and its jam after jam. I believe the 10% stronger mags may help out with the jams but I just didn't care to invest into it.

The finish is not overly impressive and it kind of has this B level cheaper gun type feel such as the safety and sites. There is no aftermarket nor any market for parts if anything breaks on the gun and this has been for several years.

I'm being critical since you asked to hear the under side of the coin. I think if I looked into it I could get the thing functioning well. I spent plenty of time on other forums researching Sars years ago and I remember thinking the 10%+ mag springs would help plus polishing the feed ramp. I definitely would not trust it as a bedside or carry gun at the moment. I am happy with it for a range gun and novelty of owning it and feel its worth what I paid.

I'm eager to hear how the community reacts over this wave of Sars. I saw a recent review on a new Stainless K2-45 with pictures showing machine marks from a person who stated his older black K2-45 did not have.

I eager to hear what you about your new pistol. Maybe Ill invest some more time into getting mine running.

For all the researching Ive done in the past I have heard minimal about swapping CZ parts. Something makes me thing the hammer spring is half the size of a CZ spring. I have seen people swap sights though.

Already have springs on the way for the mags (10% heavier) and will polish the feed ramp and chamber before I get a chance to go to the range.
I was able to hand cycle some FMJs and some Sig V crown JHPs through it OK but some LSW I loaded would jam up.
Trigger out of the box isn't bad but I love to tinker and hope I can make it better.
Would love to install CGW short reset kit IF it'll work.

Here it is.
Only plastic on this is the grips and mag base plates.
Breaks down like a CZ. Very much based on CZ but I see Sig in it also in the bbl lockup for example.
Even has a SS guide rod.
Tight fit and good (not great) out of the box trigger.

I Shot my K2 yesterday and I wasn't disappointed. The heavy weight made follow up shots faster with the big ole .45 and accuracy was very good.
Was easier to shoot faster than my 1911 which I fired along side.
Shot 100rds - 230 fmj, 40 rds of Hornady XTPS, 100 rds of my reloads (200gr lswc) only a couple bobbles with the lswc (many pistols have trouble with these unless feed ramp and chamber have been polished or angles changed worst case).
Very happy, will be my beside gun with a WML attached and loaded with 200grn XTPs.

I took mine out to compare to my CZ97 which I'll probably make a post about it later. But, here is about 3-4 rounds into my trip. This is the failure I have with the gun. Again, not sure if the stronger mag spring would help. I do think polishing the feed ramp would help.

Yes I polished the feed ramp AND chamber before ever took to range.
As I reported, it even ate my reloads with LSWC bullets!.
A stiffer recoil spring may help as well.

Ok, I'm off work and wanted to say that I shot 4 rounds from my K2-45 and I had a great group and was very accurate then the thing jammed frustrating me and I set it down as I wanted to shoot my new CZ97. But I was pleased with those 4 shots making me want to get this thing running. I'm now kicking myself for not buying a few mags when I had the chance a year ago. I'm just getting so many pistols I need to call it quits with buying mags for all these guns. Anyway, I'm going to get some Flitz and do some polishing and I'll report back when this happens or if I break it out again.

I have the stainless version and initially the trigger was ok. After around 500 rounds it started to smooth out. I actually prefer it over my CZ 97 due to comparable trigger, higher capacity and a rail up front.
