For the last two years, Glock has announced a new model of handgun the first Monday in January. The Glock G19X in 2018, and the G48, and G43X in 2019. Monday 1/6/20 will be that day.
The rumor is that before shot show Glock could announce the G46, G49, or the Gen5 .40 S&W. The G44 was announced on 12/10/19, which was early for Glock. The early announcement could be so the G44 would not be over shadowed by other models announced a month later. We will see?

I sure hope the G46 will be but I don’t really think it will happen. Glock seems to be strangely silent about that pistol and I have seen little said about it in Gun articles since 2017.

What are the new items at Taco Bell? For sure another straight copy variant by default from the same widely imitated and successful original model.

Glock® surprised the firearms industry today by announcing that the company will begin selling a full-size single stack intended for the American law enforcement and competition market. While prototypes had been designated Glock 21SSSSF, or Single Stack Super Slim Fit, the production gun will be marketed simply as the Glock 1911 Gen 4. Glock’s press release promises the new gun is a “game changer.” A limited number of prototypes emerged from a secret testing regimen with glowing reviews. One tester, a former Tier 1 Operator known only as “Mack”, posted on his Facebook account, “One hit from this and it’s all over.”

Glock 1911 Gen 4 Prototype
The Glock 1911 Gen4 breaks from Glock tradition in its use of an exposed hammer instead of Glock’s signature striker-firing system. To ensure safety, the single-action-only firing mechanism is protected by no less than 12 safety systems including the integral trigger safety, grip safety, thumb safety, other thumb safety, slide lock safety, half-cock safety, and 3 triple-redundant firing pin safeties. The inside of the slide is rumored to be a maze of springs and detents, but no images will be allowed until Brinks gets their approval paperwork back from the U.S. Patent Office.

At today’s press conference, Glock spokesman Frederich Unterwafflen appeared to react angrily when asked why the 1911 Gen 4 carries only 8 rounds of ammunition in its magazine, compared to the Glock 21 and 21SF which carry 13 rounds. “What, are you planning on missing a lot because you shoot like a sissy?” Unterwafflen responded. Quickly changing the subject, he hinted that Glock will also release a limited production run of collector’s edition “Zombie Mutilator” 1911 Gen4 pistols, which will have lime green grips, night sights that glow red, and “Z” factory proofmarks stamped on every single part no matter how small.

Street price of the 1911 Gen4 is anticipated to be around $800, undercutting the upcoming Heckler and Koch 1911 by a hefty $2,300.

Update: Only hours after the 1911 Gen4 rollout,Glock announced that they are no longer taking orders for the pistol as they were immediately swamped with thousands of backorders. Glock cannot build complete guns quickly enough to meet demand due to the 2012 Lanyard Loop Shortage, of which we are all aware.

Unfortunately, many wymins like this ^^^ seem to have all their "good stuff" used up on the outside...as in nice to look at, but conceited, overly concerned with their appearance, expecting both their looks and physical attributes to open doors for them and to provide themselves with an avenue towards recieving preferential treatment and special attention, and lastly to somehow define them as a perfect person on the inside as well, which unfortunately is not always the case. My ex-wife was such a person; 'nice to look at, but absolutely cold and cruel on the inside, which rather effectively nullified (imagine a fresh cut flower wilting in a 5 second time-lapse video, LOL) her desirable outside appearance once you were exposed to the real her...

Yep, looks are only skin deep...so don't expect everything to always be all roses after you've delved deeper ;)

A G1911 would be at least mildly interesting. I suspect yet another unimaginative mixture of existing Gen 5 parts such as a G26 slide and a G17 or G19 frame. The G26X, or G-who-the-heck-cares...

Maybe fullsize and subcompact variants of the .22 caliber G44. With 1/2 inch longer and shorter slides and grips.

Perhaps they'll do something out of the box and come out with Gen 5 .40s, .45s or 10mms.

If the G45 and G48 came out before the G44 (I assume so they could work out the bugs on the G44) I'm interested in finding out about the G46 and G47.
If they made a G19 sized .22lr, I'd be willing to think they follow(ed) with a full size. A single stack .45 ACP (full sized) might sell in the US but how would it do everywhere else? Bringing a new generation to an existing model wouldn't require a new model number.

She was paid to sell the Glock, that kind of woman will sell anything for the right price, including herself, to some millionaire husband who fell for the age-old 'P***y Trick', but the real joke is on him because after she pops out a couple of puppies, he will come home to his million-dollar mansion one day to find an Order of Protection on his front door, now she has the house, half his bank account and her Mercedes SUV (that he paid for) in the garage and has already moved in her new boyfriend...and her now-ex husband STILL has to pay on the house and bills for the rest of her life as long as she doesn't get married again, thanks to a Liberal Judge who ALSO fell for her age-old 'P***y Trick'...but hey, she 'made it in life' and got it all with hard work and dedication...right...
