I'm done with wal mart. I truly hope more people start to vote with their wallets.

Filthy stores, not 2A friendly, cheap products, lazy and rude employees, and they aren't even open 24 hours any more in my area.

And to top it all off they expect the customer to ring up their own merchandise or suffer in the one other lane open for 25 minutes.

Hopefully they got the way of Kmart.

This makes me feel so much safer. Active shooters will now have to bring their own ammo. Oh, wait....
But this is good news.
“Walmart said it won’t be changing its policy for customers who have permits for concealed carry.”

I would love to if they didn't rip is off.

Well, yup. If they do that, go elsewhere. I've been pretty pleased with these guys: TargetSportsUSA.com

They still will accommodate sport hunters ( If they don't use 5.56).

As Glocker56 posted, it is worse than that. I can see wanting to have customers refrain from open carry (while still allowing carry) to appease some shoppers. Once you start limiting types of ammo, the slide has begun. But the kicker...

They are writing that CEO McMillon is writing the White House and Congress to ask them to re-instate the Assault Weapons Ban. Wal-Mart, while not a staunch 2A group, is among the more friendly mainstream stores. This is a dramatic policy shift, and will reverberate throughout D.C. and the country. Time to start writing letters and making phone calls if you care about these things!

When you live in the country, just go to another gun store, isnt really an option.
