Anyone tried the new 45/10mm frame from Polymer80? I have a G21 G3 along with a G20 G3 slide. I wouldn't mind the G20 slide having its own frame.

The only review I've seen thus far is on Midway USA for one star. The reviewer says the slide lock spring channel is missing, and a Glock trigger housing doesn't fit. Claims to be a certified Glock/1911 armorer.

I have high hopes for this frame but may consider a used 21 frame instead. I've seen stripped, used 21 frames for around $100. Of course, it would require a transfer. I'm sure if there are problems, P80 will get sorted out, but not sure I want to wait that long.

There's also the Lone Wolf Timberwolf large frame, but I haven't seen any reviews for it either.

There is a bright orange card that says small spring included in package. That’s the slide lock spring. Glock offers a trigger housing for a gen 4 - 21sf is #5406 or a full size 21. The 5406 is the one you want

• So the PF45 takes Gen 3 slides but uses gen 4 trigger housing?

If yes to above questions, that's very interesting. My guess is the reviewer on Midway didn't read/follow the instructions. I look forward to seeing some more reviews!

I believe it’s the same as the 42/43 very easy to see when you look down in the mold.
As for the trigger housing I attached a pic from Glock’s catalog . As you’ll see they no longer offer a gen 3 housing for the 21sf. I’m not sure what the difference is , if any . However I have a gen 3 g21 housing as well as the gen 4 5406. Ill compare the 2. Even though the gen 3 is way too big.

That being said the 5406 is the only housing Glock offers for the 21sf. I was frustrated that my rails were jacked so I called it a night. I have a Zev drop in trigger with housing on the way. I’m interested to see what housing they’re using.

The new takedown spring is annoying when installing a gen3 lasermax guiderod. You gotta cut a notch in the polymer for the red tab on your lasermax.

I'd love to hack off the extra length of the G21 sized Timberwolf dust cover and put my G30S slide on it.

I just assembled it and yes the 5406 is the rite housing. I still have something a little out of whack with the rear rails but everything functions

I believe the locking lug geometry is different so it won't work.

Here’s a parts list for the pf45, Glock part numbers.

You dont need the plastic trigger housing pin 1774 because the pf45 kit comes with one. The kit also includes an identical pin that holds the front of the locking block rail system. These 2 pins are 3mm diameter and similar to the oem locking block pin but without the recessed center. Thank you Chas

That was probably a typo for you, but, the locking block pins are 3mm, the trigger pin is the only 4mm pin.

The ejector is a bit high. I’ll take a little material off and shoot it. Another member has the same issue, with the same fix. Well see . I’m still waiting for some parts.

The used kit I installed had an ejector already shiney on top from scuffing the oem slide. A lot of scuffing compared to a new ejector. They must have placed that ejector as high as possible for the larger casing?

Is your 41 a Gen3? If not the Gen 4 uppers will work if u open up the guide rod channel but frame is paper thin in the channel above the picatinny rail. It’s now becomes a dust cover only.

Sorry for the confusion. I don't have a Glock 41, but would buy this new frame once somebody (like 80P Builder maybe) offers a G41 length slide.

The LWD tactical length slides are out of stock now but you could put one on backorder.
