THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
(For non-Kool Aid Drinkers Only)

Have not shot the FNS (yet) but my FNX40 is my favorite pistol. I had over fifty before the hurricane pulled them all out to sea so I had a good base to judge. If you hav'nt yet, at least try one. The FNX has a very similar grip texture to the G4 Glock. Never had a malfunction of any kind and they shoot way straighter than I. I have about 4K rounds, a 170# sow hog and a rabid racoon under her belt so far.

They must pay better than Glock.
It's not pay. Last year, a major scandal hit on Team Glock; an instructor/coach on the team was having an affair with an underage female team member. I will not mention the girl's name in this post; threads mentioning her name were shut down. I think all the uninvolved members bailed out of the team.

The FNX & FNS have the exact same grip contour and angle of the Browning Hi-Power. Definite improvement over the FNP. They don't feel anything like a Glock to me. The grip is longer and the slide is taller. Looks like FN built the gun for a 40 S&W and made some major lightening cuts on the interior of the 40's slide to make it light enough for the 9MM. In 9MM, the slide and frame are just too BIG to be purpose built for that caliber. But... the 9MM does shoot well... and it's FAST!

I really like my FNX-40. Great ergonomics, accuracy and reliability. Nice and innovative features. Good mag capacity.

Agreed, ive not shot(just held) the FN but compared to the Glocks grip the FN is EXCELLENT...I still dont know what it is on the Glock(and as ive said B4 ONLY the Glock...and if someone knows tell me) but that combo of big fat grip and angle=(for me) a unusable(or not wanting to own,use or shoot unless I was forced to...as if say it was a duty weapon only) Id own the FN I still would only own 1 Glock the glock 36 and thats it.

If the FNS would make me shoot as good as Dave I'd even sell my 1911s' and that's saying something for me. I have been reading various forums on the FNS and one thing I have notice is people reporting the trigger quality varies a lot when they try several models in the gun store. They are close to $600 on online stores, but come with night sights on the ones I've seen and that has to add close to $100 so if FN makes any without night sights they would be more competitive with other makers of polymer striker fired pistols.
