As I sit here eating raw ground beef, I ask myself, does anyone else enjoy it? I usually eat it straight from the pack, sometimes sprinkle salt & pepper on it. My friends think it crazy, but I like.

Uhhh, crazy. Never had it, never will.

I do drink the water that sits inside the chicken before I throw it in the oven. There's nothing like a shot of chicken-water to wake you up.

    (EWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!)

I don't like it. My dad used to eat it with a little salt and pepper.

There's nothing anymore wrong with eating "fresh" ground beef than there is in eating a rare steak.

    E. Coli and other contaminants come from meat which is improperly handled or stored. Any ground beef you buy from a reputable butcher or any steak from the same place ground up is no more likely to give you any trouble than a good rare steak from a returaunt.

P.S. I eat my pork medium too.

Agree. I buy from a good meat market, sometimes the supermarket if it looks fresh. My pork must be medium also, nothing worse than over cooked pork, beef, or chicken.

And that's exactly why I don't eat my steaks rare, consume sushi, or eat raw eggs. Though at one time or another I've tried them all.

Used to run around in full diapers also, then learned better. I hear antifreeze tastes good as well, but don't drink it.

Common sense can be a good thing at times.

    But to each his own.

You want to know what else can be a good thing every now and again?

Not worrying so much about all the little things that might kill you or make you sick. Millions of people every day eat sushi, raw eggs and rare steak without getting ill or kicking it over, it's not a big deal.
