The only message of Joe Stacks dramatic passing is that "An American has drastically protested his taxes."

As the most official media organ of the Obama Administration, NBC must hide any 'news' of truly drastic tax protests. Not only did Stack kill and die, he also destroyed every item of value in his estate, assuring that the fedgov would not ultimately get his money.

The right wing talk radio guys just gave it the barest of mentions, and never mentioned the "tax protest" angle. They also had reasons to hide any 'news' of a truly drastic tax protest.

 

Anyone that can watch that girly-man matt lauer for more than 8 seconds is a better person than I.

 

Kind of like why Wyatt burned his oil fields.

The plane crash in Austin, Tx won't get much coverage because the liberal
press wants to protect Obama.

After all, don't most Americans support him, and aren't most Americans
satisfied with his plans for America?

Doesn't everyone love the IRS and want to pay more taxes?

 

When you've paid as much money as NBC has paid for the broadcast rights to the Olympics, it all of a sudden becomes VERY NEWSWORTHY on that morning "News Light" program.

 

Today Show = Entertainment Tonight in the AM.

As for the Today show, it sucks and has for a very long time.

+1 I watch Today for entertainment only. If I want news, I watch CNN, MSMBC, or Fox news.

 

I watched pretty much the same thing for a bit this morning and then I flushed the toilet.

 

Sadly the merger of news and entertainment is now complete.

What would have been a story on "Entertainment Tonight" (tiger woods episode) just a few years ago has now infiltrated and corrupted the hard news outlets...even national news.


News is all about profit anyway, not about public service.




Public service in news became extinct many many moons ago.

 

No NBC and no MSNBC in my home. I can't watch a news network who picked my president. They're supposed to report news not make news... fair and balanced?

My television(s) haven't seen 'the peacock network' in over 25 years.

 

I don't watch the news on television. I scan the news on the web and pick out the items I want to read about and skip the rest. This saves a lot of time and I don't have to listen to some moron trying to tell me what it really said. I also don't have to listen to two or three other morons arguing over what it should mean to me.

I don't care about the olympics or Tiger and I refuse to sit through all of this garbage in order to pick up little tidbits of significant news.

The story of the man burning his home and crashing the plane into the IRS building is, in my opinion, significant enough to spend time on. I feel this is only the beginning of many more incidents of this nature. They won't all be this drastic and some won't even make the national news but, they will happen.
