It's getting close to that time of year again! Every Fall I make up a bunch loaves from a killer recipe I ran across on allrecipes.com of pumpkin/cranberry/walnut bread to give as gifts and to freeze to devour all thru the cold winter months (it's actually more like a dessert-type bread). I also favor the pumpkin spice milkshakes from Jack-in-the-Box (they are going to start offering it again next month) and the pumpkin spice Belvita bars that are seasonal and a limited release. Dairy Queen is advertising a pumpkin pie blizzard, but haven't tried it yet. Someone recently told me of Werther's pumpkin spice caramels, but haven't run across them anywhere so far. Of course, I could eat my weight in the old standby pumpkin pie. Pumpkin just seems to be one of those comfort-type flavors that can't be beat. What's your favorite?
