Does anyone know whether the constant popup I get while logged into GT wanting to install Windows Online Protection Tool is from an advertiser here? Microsoft is the purported publisher, but I'm really questioning that. You see, I'm on a Mac and I'm doubtful that Microsoft has become that stupid. The file they want me do download and run is an exe file that a Mac can't run even if I would download it. I haven't seen anybody else complaining.

BTW, the top of the popup shows "Windows Internet Security", but of course, I'm not running Windows when this happens.

I just took your advice. I do have Firefox and I will go back to using it. In the half hour I've been using it with the add-on, I've not had the popup. Thank you.
