Late Saturday lunch
Yum! Pinch the tail and suck the heads
I have to wonder who it was that first looked at those things and said "I bet those would be good eatin'!" (They're right, of course, but the first time?)
Legit lols where had.
More like "damn I'm starving to death, I am literally going to die if I don't get calories RFN, these lil dudes are here and contain calories, so down the hatch...."
Yep. Some starving genius coonass with a surplus of cold beer
I'm being stalked by mudbugs.
I'm making shrimp and grits.
I told my wife I was making grits last week. She said she had to eat grits growing up and was never going to eat another grit again. Made shrimp and asiago cheese grits.
She ate more than I did; said "these can't be grits".
Being a northerner all my life I have to admit I've never had grits. Furthermore, I can't say I've wanted to try them. However, I think I'd try shrimp and grits.
You're being stalked all right.
Tell her it's polenta.
I've had grits but one time in my life and they weren't like anything I've seen described by the southern folk on GT. Not sure what all was in them but they were fantastic.
When I was a kid we would catch craw dad's from the creek, make a fire, boil them, and eat them.
I like some grits but I LOVE some skrimp and grits!
That's what the dish I had was. The grits were better than the shrimp!
I've found most people don't fully cook them and it makes them have a NOT great texture.
Mine are; grits, chicken stock, cream and asiago cheese.
Sounds good to me. Asiago is one of my favorite cheeses.
