Last weekend I managed to get away and go to Yellowstone Park for a day. I just thought I would share some of the better pictures that I got that day. It was a little overcast and rainy Sunday so there was not a lot of animal movement. I got a couple animals but mostly just landscape. The first three are of the Firehole Gorge.

Great pics! There's nothing like knocking around in the wild for a day or so to take the edge off civilization...

    I'm only slightly jealous.:( ;) ;f

    Thanks for sharing the photos.

I wouldn't exactly call YNP the "wilds" but it is fun to get away and see some critters and weird landscape. I guess it is more "wild" than what probably 90% of America get's to see on a daily basis. YNP has some wierd landscape too because of the volcanic activity that is there or was there.
