Greetings all, have any of you had any experience with the XS Sights. Thinking about going with the big dot sights. Thanks and happy shooting.

I had the big dots on my G35 and, I didn't care for them. But, YMMV.

On your G35? Were you using that as a carry gun or competition?

I have Big Dots on my G26 carry gun. Easy to get on target. Not terribly accurate for long range, but if they bad guy is that far away I would hopefully be able to run. I used the G26 in IDPA and it worked great for the most part, but longer distance shots are still a problem. I now have a G17 with Warren Tactical sights for competition.

It just depends on what you want the sights for.

XS 24/7 Big Dot's on all 5 of my Glocks. I like consistency of the sighting system, and have been using them for years in 3 gun competition.

Just a suggestion, try the "search" feature. I remember a discussion a month ago that was pretty lengthy.

Yup, on the G35. I use it for target shooting mostly. For a CCW pistol they would probably be fine. I just never cared for them. I have tried them on every frame size of Glock and a couple of 1911s They just didn't do anything for me. I gave the set that I had to a friend he has them on his G27.

I started using X-sights about 4 months ago. I have them on my LCR, G20sf, and my G36.

My eyesight is not terrible, but I can surely see that front sight like it was in front of my face.

You have to get used to the front sight being very visable, but it works in your favor.

    Accuracy is dead on.

You will not go wrong with them.

I like them on subcompacts. Here are two of my subs, one with XS and the other with Tru-Glo TFO's.
The TG's give a front to rear great contrast.
    It's personal preference.

Depends on what gun you're putting them on. If it's your carry weapon than good. I wouldn't on a competition model like a 34/35...

I have XS sights and love them. 3 years ago I changed from the Meprolights (excellent sights for a 3 dot system) because I prefer the dot the I type sight. Try shooting with both eyes open these sights help with that also.

    Big Dots are my favorites.
So much so I replaced my Ameriglo I-Dot Pros with them on my G27.
Super fast target acquisition. Super visible day or night.

Got'em on my G19. Have a Standard set coming for my Gen4 G26. They are great for up close and personal.
