I ordered some Big Dot sights for my Glock 19 today. I watched a video and seems easy enough putting them on, but I am a little concerned how secure the rear sight is. The video I saw the rear sight did not seem as tight the stock Glock sight. Between the screws and locktite they provide I guess they must be ok, but was wondering if anyone had a problem with them coming loose. Thanks

No issues at all. The rear sight fits snugly in the dovetail and the set screws and loctite keep it there.

Yep, i have them on my G23....fit is fine...but my accuracy shooting with glasses is off a little bit...a little bit bigger groups.

Of course I got the Bd's to try with no glasses and yes I can now make out the front sight where before with a fiber optic front sight I could not.

I have them on 4 of my Glocks and the rear sights were tight. One I even had to file the bottom on to get it in. Once on with the set screws and loctite they are solid. They are great for bad eyes and fast sight alignment, not so good for shooting dots.

Have them on my HK P7 and it's a very fast set of sights.

I have astigmatisms and am thinking these will better suit me.

Might want to install them with blue loctite for a trial run to see if you like them. If you use the red, you'll have to use a torch to heat them up to get them back off. Ask me how I know ;).

How does the steel mount hold up vs. the tritium inserts? I have an idea, and it's ugly. Right?

Not sure what you mean. I had them on my gun for a few months and maybe a 1000 rounds. I didn't shoot nearly as accurate as traditional three dot sights. When I used the torch to remove them, I melted the rear sight.

Thanks. I was implying the survivability of the entire unit under a torch. Certainly, you weren't the first.

I used the supplied red Loctite and was able to remove the rear sight with just a sight pusher. I've reinstalled the Big Dot front and rear on my Glock 26, no issues.
