Howdy,

I learned some WWII history today. I’ve been reading a biography of General George Patton and there was significant close teamwork between the Third Army and General Weyland’s XIX Tactical Air Command as they stormed across France and Germany.

I was surprised to learn that the XIX TAC even existed as someone who has always had an interest in WWII aviation. I guess the Eighth Air Force and strategic bombing got all the publicity.

Just thought it interesting enough to share.
