Excepting that I don't know what "GRAW" is...

I am an avid Battlefield 2 player. For all intents and purposes, it is only an online (or LAN) multiplayer game. Single player mode is just practice for multiplayer. GREAT graphics and effects. The squad system (where you can respawn on your "squad leader") and the built in voice communication (VOIP, you don't need TeamSpeak or Ventrillo) makes for adrenaline pumping games.

GRAW-Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter..but thanks for info concerning BF2. I read that there aren't enough upgrades over the first one to justify the $60 to get BF2

I'll have to look up GRAW!

I'm not sure what you mean by "upgrades". BF2 is very much an "upgrade" over Battlefield 1942, and as to the Desert Combat mod the graphics are much better, basically next generation. In my opinion, the gameplay is so different than DC that it is really a different game, so for me it is difficult to directly compare them. It seems to me that a lot of long-time DC players jump into BF2, don't give it a chance, and then leave saying it sucks. It has a different and steeper learning "curve" than DC. Also, I got mine for $45 (PC), I don't know Xbox prices.

As with anything, one person will love it, the next will hate it.
I just finished GRAW. Challenging. Multiplayer is fun as hell.

The single player was good. Graphics were very good. Just hard trying to aim quick with thumbjoysticks. I wish there was a mouse controller for FPS.

But like I said before multiplayer was a blast.

Only part I didn't like was the matchmaking service. Takes a couple of minutes to find a game and then you link and find out the game is full. Then you try to go to server list screen and you have wait minutes for it to display open servers again.

By upgrades I mean the changes from Battlefield Modern Combat to Battlefield Modern Combat 2
Doh! Sorry, you are talking Xbox versions. I'll be quiet now!
Well, I picked up GRAW today and all I can is how amazing it is. Online play is great. No lag, smooth graphics etc. Glad I got it.
