    D-R,
I apologize in advance for the delay; my mailing service emailed me and the letter came back undeliverable (?).
I've since deleted your emails; can you send me your mailing address *again*?
    Thanks

    1. whatever size duplicates roughly the size of the SAPI plate in the Interceptor armor....I have a personally owned Interceptor as a raid/OHS*T/entry vest, and simply cannot afford the $500+ for a rifle plate....but a nice thick panel of Spectra seems like a costeffective way to up-armor the vest just a tad.

    2. size/shape pre-cut to up-armor the groin plate on the Interceptor.

    3. size duplicating the typical trauma-plates pockets on vests....many vests (the Monarch I was issued for instance) had two different sized pockets in front, one overlapping the other.

    4. not sure of the availability, but due to the drawbacks of Spectra and similar materials...I'd be more interested in good ol Kevlar 129.

    just my dos centavos

    MWinter,

Thanks much for the ideas. I will get right on that. Regarding the Kevlar 129, I am desperately searching for a reliable source at a good price, but this stuff has basically dissappeared from the market. If I do find any, it will probably be a bit more expensive than the Specrashield. If you could send me tracings or dimensions from your pockets, I may be able to custom cut some panels if you want. By the way, did you get your material yet, and did you like it?
