I have a used seecamp .380. Received it 11/08, put approximately 80 rounds through it and carried it some. Will consider out of state transfers to FFL. Looking for $1000.00 plus shipping if out of state. Includes box, all original papers and two magazines. Pictures available. I am not fluent in gun sales so patience is recommended. Tim.

I am in Illinois which makes the deal a little easier.

Which Seecamp is it? The MSRP for the LWS 380 is only $795.
    Would you consider a trade?

The Seecamp .380 is very hard to find. There is a long wait if you order one from the factory. I have one in .32 auto, which can be had for around $400 used, and comes up for sale frequently. Like most products, prices are dictated by supply and demand, which is why the .380 fetches more than MSRP, even if it's used.

I ordered mine in May...just got it. They're not taking orders at this time because lead time is too far out.
    Oh ya...that's May 2008.

They are rare in .380 Auto. Not as rare as their discontinued .25 ACP, it seems.

$1k for a Seecamp .380 is about the going rate. Great gun.

To date there are several thousand more 25's out there than 380's. As the years go by and production numbers increase the 380's should outnumber the 25's in the future but not yet.

$1000 for a Seecam 380 is NOT a bad deal. If it was on gunbroker it would fetch more than that.

As a side note I had the honor of spending several days at the Seecamp factory last week visiting and watching these little beauties being made and assembled. What a great company building awsome little guns! Larry is DA MAN!!!!

Not sure if Wikipedia has the number correct, but there were about 5000 .25 Auto Seecamps manufactured according to

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seecamp

Since the .380 Seecamp has been in production since 2000, I would have thought Larry could have exceeded 5000 units by now; according to ccoorreeyy, this apparently isn't true (do you know how many have been made?). Mine has a low serial number.

I've seen a grand total of one (1) Seecamp in .25 Auto in person. Keeps showing up at the gun show looking quite abused and offered for something like $450.

I've seen over a dozen .32 Seecamps, including those I've owned. Not sure if it's still true, but I believe Larry's production totals about two dozen pistols per day. This is no Ruger or Smith & Wesson scale operation!
