The NVEC ENVIS (Evader's Night Vision Imaging System)is a lightweight Generation 3 night vision monocular issued to U.S.A.F. aircrews for escape and evasion use. It uses a U.S. Generation 3, Omni 5, 64-72 LPMM Resolution image intensifier tube. The image is incredibly bright and clear. It comes with the standard MILSPEC objective lens and threaded base as found on the PVS-14 so it will accept all the standard accessories including 3X lens, compass, helmet mounts, head mounts, etc.

I have used this unit for about 2-3 hours total. It is in new condition. It has one minor blemish within MILSPEC for the unit. Two weeks ago I tested this unit side by side with a Insight technologies MV-14 Ultra monocular(MUM) purchased from Moro vision. The tests were done in Oregon’s Mt. Hood National Forest under overcast starlight and the extreme darkness of an old growth forest. The MV-14 was exceptional. This ENVIS unit performed just noticeably better in all observable areas such as Gain, clarity, and signal to noise ratio. This is an awesome monocular.

Includes the following: Gen 3, Omni 5 ENVIS pocket scope, MILSPEC Head Mount, MILSPEC Helmet Mount, J-Arm adapter, built in Infra-red illuminator, lens cap, Rubber eye guard, neck lanyard, AA batteries (2), and soft case. The unit is in new condition and has less than 3 hours on the tube. I have included links to pics of the actual unit and accessories as well as a link to the manufacturers info page.
