I have now decided to just go ahead and sell my Class A Limited. As I stated before I purchased this gun about a month ago. The gun was built in late 1996 using a Les Baer frame and slide. These were used before Mr. Brown began making his own. The gun is fit very well but is not overly tight. The action is very smooth and the trigger breaks at a crisp 5 lbs.

The finish is a matte blue and is quite beautiful. Overall I would rate this gun in the 97 to 98% range. It is still 13 years old though and there are a few minor wear spots in the finish in high places such as the sights. The gun has right around 1500 rounds through it. I have fired 200 of these with zero issues. From what I understand all internal parts are Ed Brown. The sights are Novak Combat sights. The front strap is checkered at 30 lpi and the bushing is a Briley Spherical Bushing.

The gun comes with 3 Brown magazines, a pistol rug, and slim grips and screws (no bushings). I also have the original order sheet that was provided by the previous (original) owner. I will tell you that the pistol rug foam has seen better days and two of the magazines will need new springs. The two that need springs will not always lock the slide to the rear.

I hate to let it go but it is just to nice for my taste. I also shoot better with my Wilson so I have no need for it. The gun is listed on an online auction but I also wanted to place it in here where a true enthusiast might find it. If someone on here states they want it before the reserve is met on the auction then it is yours.

I will sell the gun FTF for $1700. Shipped for $1730. Let me know if you have any questions.

Free bump for a nice piece. If I could decide on whether or not to sell my Kimber rcp II I might take a stab at this one, but I can't seem to part with it. Bet it would be great for friendly 1911 competition shooting.

Thought I'd post the pics from your link (might help), and give it a bump.

Thanks for the complements. It really is a beautiful gun in person. I do not think the pictures even do the finish on this pistol justice. Also, thanks for posting the pictures for me.
