Does it say it fires +p on the frame, or in the paperwork? I had one and it was lost 30 yeras ago, in a home robbery, and always thought about replacing it. Would you consider a LNIB CS 45?

These are great little guns. I have two, well one is my wife's. I worked at a gun shop years ago and we had a ton of revolvers, basically one(or more) of each model of Colt, S$W, Ruger, Dan Wesson(it was 20 + years ago). My point is that for some one with weak hands or medical problems this is the gun. I found this out while looking for a gun for my soon to be wife who was struggling with carpal tunnel pretty bad - no insurance. The Detective Special was the only gun she could operate, and Smith had just come back out with the Lady Smith line, which did have lighter trigger pulls, but he Colt beat them hands down. Also, the Colts, while harder to time once they go out( would take a lot of shooting) will hold their time much longer than a Smith& Wesson. They really are a step above a model 36 or 60 S&W. If one does not like the Colt/Pachmayer rubber grips, the factory walnut grips can be had fairly reasonably from gun parts, CDNN, etc. A sweet gun for somebody, BTW, they were discontinued in mid '90s I believe, and for a brief time later came out with a stainless one , then Colt all but got out of he civilian sector, except custom shop guns. (Anacondas, Pythons, King Cobras, -gone:faint:)
