For the Colt collectors. This is a 1877 Colt ligtning 38 made in 1878. It has a 4 digit serial number (3***) and a 4.5' barrel. Looks like about 60% of the nickel finish is intact. The grips have a crack on the left side but are the original grips for the gun. The pistol still works, which is a rare find for these guns since the action was prone to breakage due to the delicate parts. I am not a Colt collector so someone that is into these needs to take it off my hands. This pistol turned 130 years old this year.
