Received an offer for some ammo. The story behind it is interesting and if true may be worth me picking up. Can anyone ID and tell me the story behind this ammo?

Search guilford engineering. Seems to be a lot out there on this ammo. What I have been able to figure out is that inside the black part, held together by the jacket, is a cookie cutter type of bullet used as armor piercing round. They seemed to have been banned in the 80's.

That sure looks like GEA's Cyclone ammo. If you can get it for a good price I suggest that you BUY IT! $100 a box and under would be a STEAL!
