WTH is this?

    Seeking help from the wise GT community.

    I just bought a house and found two of these, one in each bathroom.

    No clue what they are. There is no hole other than at the large end.

    Ideas?

    I know exactly what this is as I have used one before. It most likely came with the kitchen faucet. It is used to tighten the fastener on the underside of the faucet under the countertop. They provide this tool because most of the wrenches that a typical homeowner would have are too large to fit in the confined space under the counter. Thus they give you this so that you can reach the fastener and install the faucet to the counter top. Not a lot of room to work back there.

    First, you should not ask questions if you are not 100 percent sure you wa t the answer.

    Second, the plumbing tool is probably the right answer.

    Third, not everyone uses tools for their intended purpose.

    Fourth, seriously, wash your hands! Some of those other guys might know more than you how they have used those. Wash them at least twice, then use hand sanitizer, then wash them again.
