They were available brand new from The Sportsman for $90. Yup, ninety dollars. I bought one from them for that much last month..I'm looking at the receipt right now.

    CarlosC,
Where is The Sportsman? Do they have a website? I am selling my new and used PDP5 for what I have in them. I sell mounts and these were bought for measurements, etc. The manufactured Suggest Retail Price for this model was much higher than that when they were made.

I would like to buy some at $90.00 and feel that there are many other GSSF shooters that would like to buy at that price, too.

Please share with us your "new found fortune".

    Thanks,
    Bobby Carver

Don't underestimate the PDP5SPL 30mm red dot. Yes the CMP version gives a lot more view but the SPL version does a good job. It also had 4 dots 3,6,9, and 12moa and the same 11 intensity settings. I have both and after shooting with both I see advantages and disadvantages with both. I would not part with either.

    Don,
Since I have been using the Aimpoint, I'm leaning toward the smaller tube. With the CARVER Mount and a smaller tube, the dot(center of the tube) is lower!!!

    Take care,
    Bobby

Smaller tube gets in the way when I transition to the next plate. The bigger tube allows me to see 2 plates at one time while moving the gun.

    Just for what it's worth.

    Have a great day all.
