Prefer NIB. Will consider used.
Make me an offer I could not resist
give Ed's Gun Shop in Sanford a call, sorry I don't have the #.
cdnn investments has them in their catalog
No, they don't have them in their catalog.
What they have is the M-series.
I am looking for the S-series.
There is currently no retailer in the US which carries these. I doubt they have ever been imported.
If you happen to know of one, please post here.
Sorry about that. I didn't realize there were two different types. What is the difference? I will certainly look both here in Spokane and at the upcoming gun show, if you educate me on what to look for.
The S40 is M40's scaled-down brother. The S-series is smaller, subcompact frame.
Good for carry piece. Size-wise it is similar to Glock 30 or 26/27. There have been sightings of its 9mm brother, the S9, as recently sold on some online auctions.
Oddly, I prefer the .40 caliber.
You can see a picture here
The specs are best shown here
Hope you would find one for me . I am a patient man.
I have a buddy that has one at his shop, used but looks to be in excellent condition, Ill see what he wants for it.
Please keep me posted on this.
CHad has them in his store. NEW in Box
Thank you for the tip.
I'd only suggest that you know the facts before replying here ;P .
Talked to the owner of Guns Galore, Chad Cheadle today.
As I expected, he has never seen a S40 alive. All he got is S9s.
He also told me he is not aware of the S40s having been imported in the US, ever.
As a side note, his price on S9s sucks big time - $599.00.
Any and all pointers on my quest are greatly appreciated, as long as they are not bogus.
I Know who has one, But I have only seen them for around $500.00
Check Gunbroker auction 6758549 S40 $475.00
Thank you guys.
I am onto getting one from Davidson's - if the price is right.
$500 sounds awfully high, in the light of CDNNinvestments selling the M-sized ones for $299.
This appears to be the first batch of S40 finally hitting the US and retailers are evidently testing the water with price close to MSRP.
I've been waiting for the S40s since 9'2000 and I'm sure I can wait a while longer
Davidson's should be cheaper, They have the Steyr contract now.
