Looking to purchase face to face only. Older inexpensive shotguns that need work, .22's that need liners.Things like the 16 ga I had for up for trade & just pulled down so he can refinish the stock. Guns that you bought as projects but never got around to. My 10 y/o has expressed an interest in learning some basics on repair, and maintenance of long guns, and I'm basically looking for some cheap guns for us to work on together. Things like teaching him how to put a liner in a .22 rimfire, rechecker or checker a stock on an old junker that type of thing. Not looking to put a ton of money into these and these would not be resold. I look at like this if we don't start teaching some small basic repair now and get our kids interested 20 or 30 years from now we'll be lucky if they're any gunsmiths left. Sorry for the rant.

Must be face to face Our local FFL's have gone nuts on what they want for transfer fees $50.00 +18% ill be happy to give you a bill of sale to cover yourself but shipping is out since I'm basically looking for under $100.00 long guns or Saturday Nighters to refinish teach him how to polish an action etc...

    BTW

Bought a lorcin .380 Saturday nighter polished the ramp, deburred the sear it now chambers and ejects hollowpoints 50 rouds no FTF or FTE.

BTT if your visiting Myrtle Beach on vacation can arrange ffl transfers as long as they aren't smith, colt or walther found and old ffl that'll do them if he approves of the company politically. Please no offers of $150 single shot 12 ga that are mechanically sound but need to be reblued. don't mind paying or trading reasonably but brand new a rossi single shots only about $100.

you could always apply for a Gunsmith FFL. Relativly cheap and you can do your own transfers.

Have a C & R but as far as regular dealers license you have to have a physical store these days. We used to have 4 or 5 kitchen table dealers but they all got put out of business. Even if you just do gun shows they still require you to have a business address that is open specific hours.

Crap! OT, but have you thought about shopping around for a different FFL? Locally here in T-Town/Broken Arrow, transfer prices range from $10-$25, no silly percentages or sales taxes tacked on.

Best deal I could find within a reasonable drive here some of the ones upstate want upwards of $75.00. Have one that will do it locally for $20.00 + a $25.00 backgroundcheck fee even w/cwp. Also another that will not transfer anything that has colt, smith & wesson, or walther on it. He also recomends comanche revolvers as good quality.

Last bump has to be some locals with .22 rifles that need work or some inexpensive pistols that need to be able to shoot better.
