    Hi,
Am looking for some of the 124 grain 9mm FMJ Hirtenbirger L7A1 ammo imported in the early 1990s.

Am also looking for Israel military Industries:
    9mm 115 grain FMJ Black Tip +P
9mm 158 grain FMJ subsonic Blue Tip

    Thanks for looking

    Spetz,

Botach is the only dealer I'm aware of who is bringing in IMI 9mm ammo. They do have the 158gr sub stuff, but the current 115gr +p FMJ is very tame and doesn't measure up to the original CARB stamped Uzi Carbine load.
I know of a store that has at least half a case of the original UZI carb ammo; PM me and I'll give u the details.

There was a fella here a short while back saying he bought the L7A1 at a gun show....try a search. Best of luck!

Just for the record the only pistols that can safely handle that ammo on a stwady diet are only the Glock, HK USP, series ONLY , Sphnix. I certainly would not recommend any other pistol firing those rounds.

Have you tried Wideners? I purchased Hirtenbirger L7A1 from them earlier this year. Not sure if they still have it. I've tried some in my P99, just tried not steady diet with no problems. It really wakes up your Colt Carbine!

Back to the main point of this thread- outdoor marksman has the stuff. I ordered 8 boxes back in December, like the 29th or something. I also ordered what they have listed as Winchester Nato +P ammo. I ordered 8 of those (9mm). I got my 16 boxes of ammo 2+ weeks later.

The Winchester Nato ended up being the beige Winchester boxes with the blue stripe and yellow badge. It said 9mm NATO and the blue stripe did not say "For Law Enforcement Only". It says "for LEO, not to be used in weapons not designed for this, exceeds industry standards of pressure." something like that anyway...

I was very happy with what I got. I didn't plan on using it for target ammo. I planned on leaving it in a steel ammo can for when the Democrats take the last step in taking away our rights. Until then, it just looks very "military-ish"

Do the Dems plan on expanding the breadth of the "patriot" act ?

I have heard it's not necessarily the donkeys.
Bush said he'd sign a new 'ban' bill if it landed on his desk.
Let's just hope the Republican Majority of the House and Senate do their part and burn any type of proposal when it comes their way.

I hope that they can at least Fillibuster Vigilantly long enough for me to order a few of the killer assault weapons.

HOW IS THE QUALITY ON THAT STUFF? $110 PER 1000 IS A GOOD PRICE, IF IT'S DECENT AMMO. THE HIRTENBERGER +P+, THAT IS...

This is excellent quality ammo. It is POWERFUL and accurate. The ammo is packed in 50rd boxes that have not been opened. It is clean looking like it would be if it were new. What do you plan to shoot it in? A SMG or a carbine, I hope.
